THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME

Heyya! I'm Ry, Director & Senior Stylist of Lunaire Muse.

Formerly known as Her Moon & Stars, which was born from a dream of being a wedding planner after I got married in 2021.

The name came from my Nan. She was a guiding light throughout my life, and through my own wedding planning journey. She passed away suddenly, just before our wedding, but on the day itself, a pink moon rose as our ceremony began, and stayed with us the whole day through. Ever since I was young, "love you to the moon and back" was how Nan and I said goodbye.
I've never stopped feeling her presence in it since.

That became the spirit I wanted to bring to every couple I worked with: to be a guiding light through the planning journey, the way she was for me. Having been a bride myself, planning interstate, through a pandemic - I understood the stress, and the joy, better than most.

As the studio grew, so did its voice. Her Moon & Stars became Lunaire Muse - refined, romantic, luxurious. The name changed; the heart behind it didn't. I still dream in moonlight and love letters, in European elegance and quiet, bespoke detail.

What hasn't changed either: I'm still your biggest hype girl, your sounding board over a glass of wine, Margi or cup of tea, and the one bouncing ideas back and forth because I am just as excited about all the details as you are. Her Moon and Stars, evolved.
